Interested in joining Cedar Valley Networking?

Yes? AWESOME! Thank you for your interest in attending a Cedar Valley Networking meeting.  To make your visit easy and stress free we have outlined some information that will support you.  Please bring business cards to share with the group during introductions.

Before you can attend a meeting please contact us FIRST to give us a heads up on your interest. Once you have attended a meeting to see if it would be a good fit for you, there is an application process before you become a member. Further information will be provided on the process of membership, dues, etc by a member of the membership committee following your outreach.

Logistics

Club meetings are Wednesday mornings from 7 – 8 AM at the Days Inn & Suites, 1809 Laporte Rd, Waterloo, IA 50702. 

Meeting Flow

• Networking – From 7:00-7:15 we have an informal networking time.

• Educational Minute – A member of the group presents educational content to give you food for thought for your week.

• Spotlight Speaker – A member of our group shares a 10 minute presentation about their organization.

• Q&A – Members have an opportunity to ask the spotlight speaker questions.
• Business Development – Our President or an invited speaker facilitates topical discussions, hot seats, or other material to spark conversation and challenge us in growth

• Referrals and Testimonials – We go around the table and present any referrals or testimonials for other members of the group.  (As a guest, you are not required to have any at this time.)

• Drawing – The referral slips are used to conduct a drawing.  The prize is provided by the spotlight speaker and has a value of around $10.
